Please note: The upcoming school year’s tuition is set by the board of directors and is announced in January.

B.E.S.T. (Beacon Extended School Time) Program is optional and requires a separate contract and additional fees for students enrolled in kindergarten to grade 8. Several flexible enrollment options are available for the extended school hours from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Find out more.

Downpayment (new families)

A downpayment equal to 10 percent of the annual tuition is due with your signed enrollment contract. The down payment is non-refundable and will be applied toward the current year’s tuition.

Tuition Payment Plans

Annual: One annual payment of full tuition, due by June 1. Tuition insurance is optional when you choose this plan.

Quarterly:  Four equal payments due quarterly on the first of the following months: June, September, December, March. Tuition insurance is required. (See fee schedule below.)

Monthly: Nine equal payments due on the first of each month beginning June 1. This option requires tuition insurance and an annual $45 administration fee. (See fee schedule below.)


Sibling Discount:  A 5% sibling discount can be applied for each additional student per family.

Tuition Down Payment for (Re-Enrollment Students)*Tuition insurance: Beacon Day School cannot refund tuition or cancel unpaid obligations if your child is forced to withdraw during the academic year due to, for example, illness, job relocation, job loss, or financial constraints. The tuition insurance plan will help pay your obligation to the school if your child withdraws. Purchase of tuition insurance is required for quarterly and monthly tuition payment plans except for grade 8. Beacon uses the Dewar Tuition Refund Plan, The fees are 2.4% of annual tuition.

A tuition down payment equal to ten percent (10%) of the annual tuition per student is due with signed re-enrollment contracts. The down payment is non-refundable and will be applied toward the next year’s tuition. Re-enrollment packets are mailed in early February.

Financial Aid

Beacon’s financial aid program is one component of the school’s commitment to diversity. Financial aid is available for students in kindergarten through grade 8 based on financial need.
