All enrolled families are members of the Beacon Family Association and are encouraged to participate.
The Beacon Family Association (BFA) provides avenues for parent involvement and community building; facilitates communication among parents and the school administration; and supports student and school programs and events.
The BFA meets approximately eight times a year and all parents/guardians are encouraged to attend. Dinner and childcare are provided at every meeting. See schedule below.
The BFA is governed by a board of officers. Activities are staffed by volunteers who choose one-time or ongoing opportunities to be involved. Class Representatives coordinate support for classroom or grade-level activities and are announced at the start of school. To get involved, contact Leah Zippert.
