For almost 30 years, Beacon has been at the forefront of developmentally responsive education, providing the ideal conditions for academic and personal growth. Our goal is for every child to be a confident, successful learner, who truly enjoys school, embraces the arts, and is at home in a genuinely diverse community.

The admission committee seeks students and families who will thrive in the educational community that we offer. Admission is open to all students, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation and national or ethnic origin.

The application process begins each fall for the following school year for kindergarten to grade 8. Candidates are urged to apply early, though all on-time applications will be considered together. Initial decisions are made in March. Because Beacon students spend more days in school than at most traditional schools, we can accommodate new students throughout the year, as space allows. Please contact the Admission Office with inquiries about rolling admission for limited/potential spaces available. Early Childhood applications are accepted throughout the year.
